Absolute Landscapes can offer you all styles of paving from the natural old style paving through the ranges of contemporary styles of more modern paving.

We can cater for the following types of paving:

We are happy to design anything from a small courtyard to a larger patio; from small areas of block paving to a grand entranceway - Absolute Landscapes are experts in every style of paving.

All paving is laid on a sub-base that is made up of compacted type 1 scalpings. The depths of the base vary according to the soil type that it is laid upon. For example if you are in an area that is on a clay soil the depth of the base will be approximately 35% deeper than that of normal soil conditions. In all cases the minimum depth will be no less than 100mm.

All our block paving, is laid with geo textile matting between the sub-base and the sand screed, preventing sand filtering into the sub-base which causes the paving to sink. All falls are calculated to allow surface water drainage and any drainage facilities can be introduced. We also recommend that all block paving is sealed with a resin sealer which stabilizes the jointing sand, enhancing the colours and protecting the paving from oil spills and the elements.
